"… private instruction allowed me to really focus on myself, and twice a week sessions were important for timely correction of any postural misalignment. Equally important were the regular doses of encouragement and affirmation.
After the second session and several at home practices, I began to develop a rhythm of breathing and sequencing of the poses. I began also to be mindful of holding my body in more proper alignment, and to gently focus on places in my body that were asking for attention. The beneficial physical effects of paying attention were immediate: tense muscles relaxed and underused muscles began to feel like they were being strengthened."
